Broodmares

We have transitioned into primarily a training facility and are only breeding one or two prospects a year now. As a result, we have sold most of our broodmares. Here are a few of our favorites.

Annabelles Playgun

The best, most talented horse we have ever had. World class talent in either reining or cowhorse, shown in ranch versatility and currently in roping training. Points and earnings in AQHA Working Cowhorse and NRCHA Reined Cowhorse events.

Annabelle is a 2005 AQHA gray mare and a full sibling in blood to Amanda Stargun, who earned more than $92,000 and has produced more than $264,000. Retired

A Red Belle Pepper

Belle is a 2005 AQHA sorrel mare and top caliber producing broodmare. Her first two foals to show, both by Smokeelan have earned more than $20,000. With only a handful of foals on the ground, her future as a broodmare is bright.

Belle was trained by Randy Paul and shown at the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity. Unfortunately, a tendon injury ended her show career. We have had five outstanding foals from Belle. Sold  

One Gray Freckle

Gretta, a 2010 AQHA gray mare, was bred and raised by the great Cowan Ranch and shown my Michelle Cowan in the 2013 NCHA Futurity. Unfortunately, a non-performance related injury ended her career early.
